Detroit Lions invite off duty officers to enjoy training camp
There’s some jokes in here about the Detroit Lions having half of Detroit Police Department on speed dial. Or knowing them all on a first name basis. Or getting acquainted with future suspects. But I won’t make those jokes cause this was really a nice gesture. The Detroit Lions had the biggest number of arrests this off season and it makes sense to invite the officers that protect the community and the players out to enjoy camp.
